As part of our “Rewriting Women into Maritime History” series, we have written a series of blogs exploring the experience of women who worked in maritime. Whether famous female shipbuilders or inspirational, influential women, these are often untold stories, therefore we have endeavoured to rebuild the narrative of maritime history and contribute to “herstory” - the retelling of history from a feminist perspective.
