States that she received new boilers and engines in October 1838 to the sum of ?2005.6.6. Mentions that the vessel could not be examined properly as she was full of cargo, and a request was sent to the builder Mr Fleet[?] at Greenock to complete any of the queries. Some of these have remained blank, but the surveyor states that he will examine her when she next comes to Berwick. The certificate of the state of the machinery and boilers has not yet been received from the Master Engineer
