Waterproof: Safety at Sea reaches over 120,000 people

The Centre is delighted to announce that our yearlong exhibition, Waterproof: Safety at Sea, has been visited by over 120,000 people in six months. The exhibition, funded by the Lloyd's Register Foundation and held at Rotterdam Maritime Museum, concerns Lloyd's Register's influential role in the development of maritime safety from the 18th century to the present day. The exhibition also focuses on the Foundation's SOMOS and MX3D projects in the Netherlands.

The exhibition has been featured in various local and national Dutch publications and has received positive visitor feedback since its opening. Waterproof represents the Centre's motivation to ensure its archive, libraries and resources are being used to their full potential.
