Forces module goes live on STEM Crew
With over 2,500 page views in the first few days since launch, The 1851 Trust's new Forces module on STEM Crew is proving very popular as an online teaching resource.

This is the second of three free education resources on STEM Crew to be supported by the Lloyd's Register Foundation's Heritage & Education Centre.

The Forces introduction video leads onto a range of online support materials covering the curriculum topics of Forces and elasticity, Friction and resistance, Force diagrams and buoyancy, Forces and motion, and Performance analysis.

The 1851 Trust's online Education Platform, STEM Crew, has seen a 100% increase in site traffic since lock-down began in the UK. The combination of cutting-edge technology coupled with historical archives and information has proved to be a very successful and attractive partnership for teachers.

Alongside this, they are continuing to see significantly increased levels of activity and logged in teacher sessions on STEM Crew - now up over 100% from February. In response, The 1851 Trust continue to prioritise the development of new accessible content to enable young people to access the exciting content at home, also designed to be relevant once they return to school.

Well done to the Education Team at The 1851 Trust for producing another great online learning resource and supporting pupils in their remote learning activities.
